Celebrate Family Day at SLS Centre with a Teddy Bears’ Picnic & More!Join us on Monday, February 16, for a fantastic Family Day celebration at SLS Centre! Bring your favorite teddy bear and enjoy Teddy Bears' Picnic, a morning event filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories. This will be a DROP-IN event, and will cost $5 per person. No registration needed! Along with Teddy Bears' Picnic, there will also be a host of other events happening at SLSC on Family Day! See below for the full schedule of events.

The Main Event

🌟 Teddy Bears’ Picnic - Just $5 per person!

Start your day with a delicious pancake breakfast, balloon animals, a drop-in climbing session, and multiple activity zones for all ages, like bouncers, video games, crafts and more.

Along with the main Teddy Bears' Picnic event, there will be other events happening in and around SLS Centre, like the Cochrane Fire Dept vs. RCMP Charity Hockey Game, Family Yoga classes, and a free sponsored skate.

Teddy Bears' Picnic Schedule ($5 Per Person Fee)

🥞 10:00 AM – Pancake Breakfast (Lobby/Main Atrium)
Kick off the day with a delicious pancake breakfast!

🧗 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Drop-In Climbing (Climbing Wall)
Try out the climbing wall—fun for all ages!

🎈 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Balloon Animals (Totem 1 Lobby)
Pick up a fun balloon creation!

🎨 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos (Totem 2 Lobby)
Get into the spirit with colourful face painting and glitter tattoos!

🐻 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Teddy Bear Activity Zones (various locations)
Enjoy themed games, crafts, bouncers, video games and activities with your favourite teddy! Designed for all ages.

☕11:00 AM | On The Rocks Lounge Opens
Enjoy a coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or just enjoy a quieter space within our facility for your family to unwind between activities, located on the 2nd floor.

🧘11:15 – 11:45 AM & 12:00 – 12:30 PM | Family Yoga Classes (Earth Studio)
Fun, imaginative and accessible yoga poses with interactive moments where families can move together. Designed to be a shared experience for kids and parents to participate in together.

⛸️ 12:30 - 2:45 PM | Free Public Skate & Hot Chocolate (Totem 2)
A free family skate with complimentary hot chocolate available throughout the session.
