PLAYCare is not a registered daycare, but rather a childcare service offered to users of SLS Centre

Parents / guardians required to be in facility while children attend

PLAYCare open to children 3 months to 8 years of age. Maximum stay per child, 

Take child directly to PLAYCare and check-in with staff

Parent / Guardian required to return to PLAYCare if child becomes inconsolable. When contacted by PLAYCare staff, parent / guardian must respond immediately. If pick up is required, a refund will be issued.

A visit to the bathroom prior to check-in is required by child. Parents / guardians will be called should a bathroom accident occur.

To avoid spreading illness, please refrain from bringing children who are showing any symptoms. You may return after 24 hours symptom free.

Snack are encouraged. Please keep snacks convenient and nut free. The SLSC PLAYCare is not equipped for breakfast or lunch items.

If a child exhibits excessive/repeated inappropriate behaviour (ie: hitting, scratching, bullying, pushing) the SLS Centre PLAYCare staff will ask that the child not return until the behaviour is dealt with and modified. Sometimes children are not ready be left in PLAYCare, if we experience this with your child we will require that you take a break from PLAYCare and try again once your child is older.
