Dry Pad

The Dry Pad is a seasonal, multi-use indoor facility that becomes available once the Curling season ends. During the fall and winter months, this space operates as a fully equipped Curling Centre. When the ice is removed in the spring, it transforms into a versatile Dry Pad, offering a hard-surfaced court area ideal for Pickleball, Badminton, and various recreational programs.

In addition to sports and drop-in activities, the Dry Pad also serves as a venue for large-scale community events, including:

• Local high school graduation ceremonies
• The Cochrane Chamber of Commerce Trade Show
• Jiu-jitsu tournaments
• The Cochrane Farmers Market and more

Please note: Basketball and Soccer are not permitted in the Dry Pad, as the infrastructure is not designed for these sports and lacks protective netting for windows and overhead lights.
